Tenant Qualifications
By submitting an application, you acknowledge and agree to the following requirements:
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Each adult must submit an individual electronic application and pay the $50 non-refundable application fee.
By applying, you authorize Star Realty Inc to conduct a complete background screening, which may include:
- Credit report,
- Eviction history,
- Employment verification,
- Previous landlord references
- Criminal background check
- County/state civil & criminal records
- Sex offender database search
Applications may be declined if any of the following apply:
- Unstable or unverifiable employment
- Negative landlord history or outstanding rental balances
- Prior evictions
- Serious criminal convictions (within the last 7 years)
PET POLICY
We happily accept pets in many of our rental homes; however, approval is not guaranteed and is evaluated individually per property.
Pet Requirements:
- No puppies or kittens — all pets must be at least 12 months old and fully potty trained.
- If approved, a one-time, non-refundable pet fee equal to ¼ of one month’s rent will be charged.
- Some properties may also include additional monthly pet rent.
- Some rental units do not allow pets at all — even if otherwise qualified.
Absolutely Prohibited K9 Breeds (No Exceptions): Pit Bull & Rottweiler
We cannot accept any dog that is of or resembles the above breeds, regardless of weight, temperament, or mix
We reserve the right to deny any pet at any time, before or during tenancy, if the animal is determined to be unsafe, aggressive, disruptive, or a nuisance to neighbors or property.
